Brief Sub-Project Description
The municipal area of Pljevlja covers an area of ~1,346 km² with a population of 25,402 inhabitants (Census 2023). Inhabitants living within the municipal centre (Pljevlja) are estimated to be 20,256. The future number of inhabitants of the area of Sveti Giorgia is estimated to be ~1,000.
The Detailed Design and Tender Documentation was to be developed for:
- Transmission Main from spring Jugostica to Reservoir Bogisevac incl. design of rehabilitation of the collection chamber (referred to as TM-7)
- Water Supply for the settlement Sveti Giorgia
For the Water Supply of Sveti Giorgia the following was to be designed:
- New Reservoir (tentatively estimated V = 200 m³; “Sveti Giorgia”); Note: a potential location for the reservoir is already identified by ViK Pljevlja
- Pumping station adjacent to the Reservoir Bogisevac; Note: a potential location for the reservoir is already identified by ViK Pljevlja
- Feeder Main from pumping station to New Reservoir Sveti Giorgia
The Works Tender Documentation, international, open, was divided into two Lots as follows:
- Lot 1-Part 1: TM-7
- Lot 1-Part 2: Water Supply for “Sveti Giorgia”
- Lot 2-Part 1: Transmission Main Potpec – Plijes (TM-19)
- Lot 2-Part 2: Distribution Main Plijes – Odzak
The Detailed Designs for Lot 2 were prepared by a 3rd Party and were at time of PPF closure only available in Montenegrin language.
Sub-Project Implementation
- Main Task for Lot 1: Detailed Design, Works and Service TD for construction of a reservoir and of ~ 7.0 km WS mains
- Lot 1 of the Works TD was designed by PPF
- Lot 2 was designed by a 3rd Party, however, was integrated in the TD
